Mission of the Faculty of Architecture
Our faculty aims to educate architects who compete at national and international levels, can align their national identity with global values, use knowledge and technology appropriately, respect the environment, society, and ethical values, and possess creative, entrepreneurial, and leadership qualities; and to create an educational and research environment that will make pioneering contributions to the country's development and the awareness of society through scientific research, publications, and applications in their respective fields.

Faculty of Architecture Quality Policy
While adhering to our university's mission, vision, and core values; I. To ensure the continuous improvement of education and training, research and development, internationalization, and social contribution processes, based on stakeholder satisfaction. II. To establish an organizational structure for the implementation of education and training, research and development, and community service activities within the framework of international cooperation, thereby increasing the international competitiveness and recognition of our institution and our country. To promote quality awareness at the institutional level, prioritizing in-service training and teamwork in all areas served by our university, This constitutes the quality policy of the Faculty of Architecture at Balıkesir University.
The Faculty of Architecture was established by a decision of the Council of Ministers on April 8, 2016, following the closure of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Balıkesir University and its division into the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Architecture. It operates in the same building.
