Attention to Our Faculty Students Who Wish to Take Courses at Other Universities During the Summer Semester

The 2024-2025 Academic Year Summer School Calendar and Implementation Guide, approved by the Balıkesir University Senate's decision dated May 29, 2025, numbered 2025/14-3, and updated by the decision dated June 10, 2025, numbered 2025/16-10, -Academic Year Summer Term Schedule and Implementation Guide, titled “Balıkesir University Students Taking Courses at Other Universities,” is stated below.

4) Balıkesir University Students Taking Courses at Other Universities: Balıkesir University students may also take courses at other state universities. Students must obtain approval from their department chairs regarding the suitability of the courses they wish to take from other state universities in terms of content and credits before taking the courses.

In accordance with Article 4 of the BAÜN 2024-2025 Academic Year Summer Term Schedule and Implementation Guide;

The steps our faculty students must take to take courses from other universities during the summer term are listed below.

* Fill out and sign a petition to take courses from another university and attach the course contents of the courses to be taken from another university during the summer term to the petition.

* Have the application signed/approved by the faculty member who is your advisor in your department and the Department Chair to obtain approval regarding the suitability of the course contents.

* Submit the approved application to the Dean's Office Student Affairs Office.
