Regarding the Single-Course Exam
Pursuant to Article 24, Paragraph 5 of the Balıkesir University Regulation on Education, Training, and Examinations:
Students who have fulfilled attendance and practical requirements for all courses—excluding internships—necessary for graduation shall be granted the right to take a "single-course exam" if they have failed only one course. Additionally, students who have passed all courses but failed to achieve the 2.00 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) required for graduation shall be granted the right to take a single-course exam for a course of their choice, provided that the grade obtained in this exam enables them to raise their CGPA to at least the 2.00 level. Single-course exams are held on the dates specified in the academic calendar. To pass the single-course exam, a minimum letter grade of "DD" is required. Midterm exam scores are not taken into account when determining this letter grade.
Single-Course Exam Date: February 13, 2026 (The single-course exam will be conducted face-to-face at the times and in the classrooms announced on the Departments' web pages.)
Single-Course Exam Application Date: February 11, 2026 (Do not apply before this date; applications submitted after this date will not be accepted.)
Application Method: Applications must be submitted via the "Single-Course Application Procedures" module located within the "Application Procedures" section of the Student Information System (OBS). (Students experiencing issues with the application process must notify the Architecture Department Student Affairs office of the problem via email.)
Applications may also be submitted to the Dean's Office Student Affairs unit.
