As the Department of Architecture at Balıkesir University Faculty of Architecture, we participated along with our students in the 5th Architecture and Energy Workshop organized by the Kocaeli University Faculty of Architecture and Design.

The workshop, held under the theme of “Resource-Efficient Structures and Settlements,” provided a valuable learning experience for our students through the exchange of academic and industry insights regarding sustainable architecture, energy-efficient design, environmental sensitivity, and innovative construction approaches.
We look forward to productive outcomes in the upcoming stages of the workshop—which will feature hands-on sessions and jury evaluations—and extend our gratitude to all the faculty members, partner institutions, and the organizing team who contributed to the event.
